I’m Ida McConnell – the person with the bright idea to set up this site, with the help of my husband and business partner Dave Jackson. Please use the website contact form if you wish contact me about anthying relating to your entry or to remove /amend your information.

We collect the information you share with us via the application form and any emails you send to us. We will not share this information with any third-parties and respect your privacy at all times, only contacting you in connection with your directory entry.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you provide your information to us as a trader / retailer etc., or if you email us or submit your information via a form, the data is only shared with Jackson McConnell Ltd. and website administrators.
How long we retain your data on the website: 6 months
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except you cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. NOTE: at the time of launch, comments are not active on this site.
How we protect your data
We use dynamic server software that detects and blocks attempts to illegally access data stored on our website. We also store your data on local computers which are password protected and have virus protection and anti-malware software installed. Regular security scans are carried out on the website server.
